Tonight at the RI HOPE New Family Orientation, David Stamp answered, "Connecting your audience with the topic and your common mission. You connect the audience with your speech topic through the vibe you put out".
David has experience that has given him the competence on the platform. He is a returning member of the RI HOPE Student Leadership Team. These extraordinary leaders support our new students by making sure they feel welcome and part of our chapter community.
The Student Leaders create ice breaker games and fun activities and provide one-on-one mentoring in small groups.
RI HOPE members are the local representatives of the Institute for Cultural Communicators (ICC). As such, we strive to have an excellent community and safe environment in our own chapter where all young speakers can practice public speaking skills. We do this in order to prepare them to go out and give speeches with confidence.
It is our hope that with this kind of mentoring within an encouraging community, ordinary students will become extraordinary leaders for Christ. We've seen it time and time again: Before you know it, they are be able to connect with the audience and portray their vision all for the glory of God.
