The Institute of Cultural Communicators (ICC) strives to communicate not only in the chapter or closed group setting but also in the cultural setting. The chapter meetings and speeches are simply practiced for the more important things you will say in the real world.
I personally have used what I have learned multiple times, speaking in my youth group, and being cordial with people at my job as I serve them. A specific example for when I’ve had to communicate with a person of a different background than mine, was when I talked to my best friend’s dad about his views on theological themes.
So if you join RI HOPE you will learn how to be confident when communicating in different cultures. We also strive to visit various differences between us and others, so we can communicate our beliefs in a quality way.
