I am excited to announce that three more of our student leaders were inducted on October 13th. Samuel and Isabel Shippee and my son, Andrew created a travel themed experience for their guests.
The chairs in the Louttit Community Center were set up in the shape of an airplane. Each row was complete with an isle seat, middle seat and window seat complete with a photograph which Andrew had taken during one of his flights to Tennessee.
Travelers received boarding passes and were greeted by TSA Agents, Captain, and Crew. Flight Attendants served refreshments before take off and gave safety instructions to assure that the passengers knew where the exits were located and powered down their devices.
The three guild inductees took turns sharing their stories about their adventures in the Young Speakers Guild training series. They ended by challenging their audience, "In your journey today, where are you going with God?"
Congratulations to Sam, Isabel and Andrew for completing the Young Speakers Guild Training Series demonstrating excellence in communication and leadership, influencing the community with competence and character.
We are so proud of you and look forward to seeing how God is going to use you in the future.
