When my 15-year-old daughter insisted that we go to an ICC conference, I had no idea what a huge impact it would have on my family’s life. In the 15 years since, I’ve repeatedly experienced first-hand the vibrant transformation that comes from getting students (and myself!) “Ready to speak.”
Did you know that we now have school chapters in Malaysia? Near the capitol Kuala Lumpur, two learning centers (think private school) have been offering an alternative to traditional government schools in the country. Teachers at these schools have trained with ICC and now lead chapters in their own classrooms - during school hours!
After 5 years of praying, learning about the needs of Malaysia’s schools and students, sharing our curriculum, and discussing options, watching these school chapters come to life has been such a gift to me. Right now we have 46 students in Malaysia developing into competent, character-driven leaders who are getting ready to speak for Christ.
I love seeing ICC empower the next generation to influence today’s culture - no matter what educational choice a family has made. You can learn more about what getting “ready to speak” can look like in your own context.

Even though my youngest child is now 26 years old, the continued growth I receive from this life-giving community calls me to stay involved with ICC and make this opportunity available to others.
