Ten RI HOPE chapter members went to Maryland in March to compete and
participate in the ICC Forensics Society Tournament (ICCFS).
David Souza, Ben Curry, Jonathan Curry, Gavin Rossi, Brody King, Aili King,
Benjamin King, Elinor Short, Ruth Short and Claire Short.
On April 9th an additional five RI HOPE students competed in the US Online Tournament.
We would like to congratulate
Ben Curry, Bella Chavez, Jacob Chavez and Daniela Dailey for being Award Winners!
(see their names highlighted below).
...from ordinary to extraordinary!
That’s the mission our chapter members were involved in as they participated in the US Online tournament. Their hard work was evident as they practiced public speaking, consensus-building, and problem-solving skills. What fun to work together toward a common mission with friends - both old and new!
It was exciting to see…
Student Evaluators mentoring YSG 1 students
Coaches and community evaluators from around the world helping to grow our leaders by providing feedback
The tournament teams experiencing transformation as they learned new skills and sought to innovate.
All this happened within a safe community striving to empower next generation Christians to influence today’s culture. “Congratulations!” to those being recognized with a Certificate of Excellence, which includes an invitation to the online International Championship held this summer.
