It is with a mixture of joy and grief that I share the news of Mr. David Moon’s passing from this world to his eternal home in glory.
A dear friend to so many of us, the husband of ICC’s president and CEO, Dr. Teresa Moon, David Moon was the catalyst. He had the crazy idea that teenagers can change the world and set in motion a course for the impact the Institute has been making over the past 25 years.
We are so grateful for his influence and support of the Institute for Cultural Communicators in those early days. His vision and belief in others have empowered so many to share the redemptive Gospel of Jesus throughout the world.
We grieve the loss of his presence here. Yet, we celebrate that he is no longer living with pain. To provide physical, emotional, and spiritual space for the family to grieve and process, we have canceled our Great Lakes Communicators for Christ conference next weekend. We hope you’ll join us for one of the remaining conferences and our Communicate for a Change programs.
Details will follow, including an obituary and ways you can join us in honoring and celebrating David’s life, vision, and influence. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the David Moon Scholarship Fund.
David Moon will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.
