Today the Student Leader Team surprised the Young Communicators for Christ (YCC) with a costume party. It has been an RI HOPE Tradition to wear silly hats and sunglasses for the YCC humor lesson.

David led the meeting and warm-ups dressed up as a wizard.

Ann an I dressed up as Minions and joined in the fun. It is always fun to do something crazy with the students and model for them that adults have a sense of humor too. Ann gave a testimony about her experience at the Communicators for Christ Conference and prefaced her remarks with, "I'm not sure you can take me seriously while dressed like a minion."

Rachel, Ben and Christy led the YCC Class where they taught the importance of dramatic pause in delivering a joke.

There was a lot of laughter and joy even while playing happy face sad face (above).

A fun time was had by all RI HOPE members of all ages.
